SP Poster

This was done using Minecraft on Superflat map and on creative mode for unlimited blocks and flying ability. It took about 2.5 hours to build a 50x40x1 wall and 10x34x10 person up to the arms, the arms are 8x5x5, and the  head... I don't remember the size for it. After i built the wall and one person, using another program called MCEdit, i duplicated what I built, went back into the game switched some colors out, and then created a white wall on top using Snow blocks, then with Photoshop, I free handed the letters and numbers. I used no mods, if I were I probably could have gotten some better colors, but I didn't, this is without a texture pack also, using a number of different blocks. I got the colors from a video, or conference, I saw at Gompers Charter Middle School, were somebody said, " ... yellow could stay mellow, brown can stick around, red can get ahead...".

Suicide Presentation Proposal

I was thinking of making a video, but I need to make a group to do it. I would like to make the video funny so it would be shared around, and still get the point across. Nick Swardson, even though they were just  jokes he did a couple, there was one about killing yourself from drinking (he was talking about wine coolers, but its the same thing) and before killing yourself saying something dumb, he said,"Who Farted!". So I was thinking something like that but, it would be a bit more serious but not so much people are just saying its boring, don't watch it, and so on. Once I see whoever I get to do it, then I can begin to choose a few things to create the video. If you guys see my post and want to do this, leave a comment.

Flash Game Tutorial Product

I added more than what the tutorial showed, i could have also made it go faster than what is now, and made the the maze more complicated, but i was lazy. Also if you want to post your game on your blog and have it work like mine follow these steps.

To post your game on your blog and have it work there:
1. On YOUR blog, when creating a new post, click on HTML
2. Copy and paste: <embed height="300" src="YOUR URL HERE.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="400"></embed> on the HTML
3. Where it says YOUR URL HERE, you will replace it with your URL

To get a hosting site to host your game and get your URL:
1. Go to https://sites.google.com/
2. Create a page if you have not already
3. Click on Edit Sidebar, on the sidebar on the left side of the page
4. Then click on Attachments, on the left side of the page
5. Click Upload, under the search bar
6. Once your game is uploaded click on view to get the URL

Game On: History of Video Games

The history of video games video was informing, because the only thing I never knew existed was Nintendo's Family Computer system, which was made into a NES. The video was also more about the companies who created the systems rather than the people who made games and how those games progressed. I also thought that Microsoft was doing well with the Xbox, but turned out they didn't but were happy they were able to get into the market.

Revised KAYD Foundation Logo

I used what Mr.Mohammad (not sure how to spell his name, but his name isn't what is important about this post) wanted on the logo. I did silhouettes because I didn't want to color every one with what was on the picture. I like how it turned out but not how the background is colored, any suggestions on how to improve it would be helpful and taken in to consideration. The green block has the name of the foundation, and is supposed to be the computer monitor.

Kony 2012 Propaganda Project

I spent the most time on the van, first just trying to draw it by myself, then trashing it and finding a picture of a van, I tweaked it so that it would have sliding doors, back tire is suppose to be uncovered like the front tires. Then because he only takes children for his army I knew I was going to make it like this. Kony is wearing a bear head, I was going to have a bubble saying, "I got some candy for your kids.", but went with brush and wrote, "Kony, you clever man.". I used the large black area on his cheek to write "Kony 2012", instead of just leaving it blank.

Kony

Joseph Kony is a guy in Uganda that kidnaps children at a young age to create his army. He has to become noticed so the American government doesn't retrieve the people there training the Ugandan soldiers to stop Kony. For him to be noticed he needs to become famous which people use graffiti, youtube, and/or Facebook to do.

KAYD Foundation Project

I used what the KAYD Foundations wants to accomplish to make this happen for Africans. As you can see, the K is a school with a tent where the green is for shade, the blue and yellow blocks are graduates. The A shows that they want to add medical care, electricity and communication. The Y is the river in the middle because water is wanted for the village. The D represents a field for the vegetation to grow for income and food. Thinking of how to make the image was the hardest part until I thought of just showing what the foundation wanted to do for the Horn of Africa.
